What is Pik Flik?It’s the ability to incorporate your video content into a photograph. Then simply scan the photo with our ‘Pik Flik’ App to play your video.

How Does Pik Flik work?The magic happens when our software analyses the printed image by creating a mathematical model based on shapes, lines, proportions, colour and other elements. It then matches the model against images already stored in the Pik Flik’s database. When a match is found what you see is the 3D, mapped digital video playing on top of your print, living in the physical world.

Which PROFESSIONAL can use Pik Flik?The Pik Flik service is used by professional photographers, publishers and content creators. They use Pik Flik with their traditional printed images as a key, to ‘unlock’ a video that creates a more engaging experience.

Can ANYBODY use Pik Flik?YES, if you can record a video then we can make your magic.

Is there a specific format my video has to be?YES, all video must be taken as .mov, .mp4 or .m4v.

How do I know what image to scan?Only images stored in the Pik Flik database can be scanned. Images scanned can be marked if required by simply adding a logo or any identifying symbol to indicate it has an interactive video content. Try to minimize glare and reflections and ensure the image is well lit. A ‘torch’ symbol is also displayed when the App is open, enhancing the light will ensure a faster connection. When you have scanned an image and the words ‘loading video’ appear but the content is not downloading this will typically be due to poor internet connectivity.
